(a) Process of Model it!!

Through the model making, it can fully understand the proportion between the landscape and the building. The importance between the architecture and model making. In other words, model making is an important technique and fundamental knowledge in this professional industry. There are no doubts that model can help architecture students to understand and practicing the transformation from 2-dimensional drawings into 3 dimensional physical model.  Through the Fisher House and Barcelona Pavilion, the skills of modeling are being improved.

(b) Process of Drawing.

Through the drawings, it is kind of rendering techniques. It can helps the viewer to understand the what materials that are being used and reflecting the lighting effects. It could be said rendering techniques is very important and a key elements to presenting the architecture design.

(c) Process of Montage

Montaging two different images into one images, right proportion, choosing a relevant background, suitable lighting effects and realistic becomes the most important part of photo montage. Different lighting effects will occur in different images, and we should try to correct and unify every lighting in on direction and the same color tone to provides a coherent scenes. It could be more realistic. Meanwhile, proportion is another key elements. Putting human figures, vegetation and other stuff to let the building stand out. As photo montage is making something not real into real. That is also another techniques that architecture students should be learnt.

Here is the poster of this project.

Montaging two different images, “Right Proportion” should be one of the key elements. By adding different elements such as human figures, plants and vegetation, proportion will be easily created. As everyone knows how height the human beings are, therefore adding human figures can make a sense of how height the building is.

To act more realistic, “Lighting” is another important aspect in photo montage. Usually, there are three different lightings in an image. Light form the sun, artificial light in and outside and the reflection light. We should consider them before merging different image together.
